Lyrical is a Slow Modern/Neo-Classical style of dance incorporating classical technique with modern expressions and a slight contemporary feel. The class is aimed at the more mature dancer that can fully express and portray emotion and feeling, and therefore consists of mainly adults (with mature-minded younger students). The lyrical class is structured with a gentle warm up, followed by technical exercises, then lyrical choreography.
