Kylie Vassallo


Kylie Vassallo has had over 20 years experience in the Entertainment Industry as a studio director, teacher, choreographer and performer. Kylie founded Studio 11 at the age of 20. After 17 years under her direction, Studio 11 became one of Sydney’s leading performing arts schools, winning major awards and producing many professional dancers working in the industry today. In 2011 Kylie co-founded The Village Performing Arts in Sydney and was co Artistic Director, Teacher and Choreographer until 2013 when she opened SMASH Performing Arts! SMASH fast became one of Sydney’s leading performing Arts Studios and won many prestigious awards. Over the years Kylies Students have been seen in the following productions –

• Billy Elliot – The Musical (Lead Roles and Ensemble) Australia and New York

• Annie

• Chitty Chitty

• Strictly Ballroom

• Snow White

• Rock of Ages (Vegas)

Past students have also been seen on X factor, Australia’s Got Talent, The Disney Channel, The Morning Show, Slime fest, danced for various artists live and in music videos, whilst students also featured in many TVC’s. Kylie’s choreography has been seen on popular television shows such as X Factor, Sunrise, The Morning Show, Australia’s Got Talent, Disney Channel, Kids Choice and Slime fest. Kylie has also choreographed for artists on the Ch. 7 Telethon-2012 & 2015 and choreographed work for couples on Dancing with the Stars. A highlight for Kylie was going on the Australian tour with “One Direction” as choreographer to their support act – Johnny Ruffo. She was also brought in for The Backstreet Boys and Kids on The Block – National Tour. Kylie’s passion is teaching, mentoring and helping students achieve their goals and is excited to be joining the Fierce Faculty.
